bird feeder

My Brilliant Bird Feeder - Learning group task.

WALT -

We are learning to design and create a bird feeder from natural and recycled materials.

Think about

Your reflection

Image.

Something new you learnt. I learned to glue the sticks on with a hot glue gun safely.

I used the sticks to make a decorated window frame. It looks great.

Something you found tricky. Something I found tricky was pushing the perch through the holes.

My  finished  bird feeder with the perches.

Something you enjoyed

I enjoyed painting my bird feeder.

Painting outside on the grass with Lara was a great way to paint and not worry about any mess on the floor.

pallet garden

 We need these things :

Pallet  Wood

A hammer

Nails

Soil

Little plants

I think my pallet garden would work well because it has stands to hold it up. There are 3 plant holders to put 9 plants in. It also has a bit of shade on the top to protect the plants from the hot sun.

The easy part of making my pallet garden was doing the drawings but building with hot glue and popsicle sticks was a bit hard but i am very happy with what i made with help from jada

maori poster.

WALT  we are  Learning  New  words in te reo maori.

reflection: `   i like it  finding the maori word for cat.
